This is a brusk animated ink cartoon that was done by Chinese animator Te Wei (1915-2010).
At that place'southward no dialogue and I found the short on YouTube. Information technology invokes feelings of peace and serenity while watching it.
Here'due south a link to the backstory and significance of this animated short: Article

One of the nigh beautiful "animated" films I've ever seen! It's made in the highly poetic "Shan sui" mode, traditional Chinese painting that features natural landscapes and uses brush and ink instead of paints.

Mind to the shifu'due south words of silence and his lovely sound of the Guqin, then reflect, contemplate, apply, feel & deliquesce in the transcendental truth.
I'm literally a little lost of words. The melancholy well-nigh crumbling and the panic when immature people miss a teacher is rarely seen in the stories of the theme of "acquaintance" in traditional narratives and gives the "Landscapes" of a modern fable a significant of growing up. Tian Dan Long integrates Taoist thoughts, gives the film a philosophical colour, and supplemented by the music of the Guqin and the lofty and quiet artistic conception of Chinese mural painting reaches its extreme. It is a pity that it has also go Cathay'due south last ink-and-wash animation. This film speaks for itself without using language and at that place's naught to be said about it, except that you should all watch it. This is the kind of affair they'd show y'all in heaven, in that location'south no doubt most it.

The embodiment of a painting and song come to life.
This is extraordinarily different to Western art and requires a reconfiguration from Western audiences in order to appreciate it, for this is non an expression of plot or grapheme - but a loving expression, inspired by the natural elements, and harmonized through the cultural arts.
This is a meditation on nature and the feelings that menstruation from that abundance. -

Move - Maoist Movie houseI intended to watch something that was a little more explicitly aligned with Maoist thought, but almost nothing is easily available, and everything on YouTube is either missing subtitles or is in max 480p, And so I ended upwardly settling on something a niggling shorter, but I still enjoyed it. Loved the animation style that felt but like a painting, and the story was a beautiful little tale.

It'due south been really hard for me to be passionate near anything lately. I've just felt actually hopeless and empty most of the time, especially as it relates to my piece of work. It'south a bigger outcome for me, and I need to do some serious emotional work to claw my way out from where I am, but this film merely soothed my soul and then much. I hope I can make something ane 10th as beautiful as this is. I hope I can channel my feelings of loss and despondency into my films as finer and earnestly every bit Te Wei.
